By downloading or using Skintrics, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.
Skintrics is a personal skin tracking application that allows you to log daily skin conditions and exposures, detect statistical patterns and generate reports. It also includes an optional Community feature for connecting with other users. The app is available on iPhone via the Apple App Store.
Skintrics is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or health condition. The information and patterns identified by Skintrics are based solely on data you enter and are for personal informational purposes only.
Nothing in Skintrics constitutes medical advice. The correlations and insights shown are statistical observations only — they do not confirm allergies, intolerances or any medical condition. This includes anything shared by other users in the Community feature, which reflects personal experience, not medical guidance.
Always consult a qualified GP, dermatologist or allergist before making changes to your diet, medication or skincare routine based on anything you find in Skintrics.
If you are experiencing a severe allergic reaction, anaphylaxis or any medical emergency, call 999 immediately. Do not use this app in place of emergency medical care.
Skintrics uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. You must have an Apple ID to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account.
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. This permanently deletes everything stored on your device — your health logs, exposures, notes, photos, food and skincare logs, saved preferences and your Apple sign-in link — and cannot be undone. It does not delete content you've posted to the Community; see our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
Skintrics includes an optional Community area where you can post to condition-specific groups under an anonymous handle, reply to others, and send direct messages. This content is user-generated — we do not create, verify, endorse or fact-check it, and nothing posted there constitutes medical advice (see Section 3).
Zero tolerance for abuse. We have zero tolerance for abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, illegal, or otherwise objectionable content or conduct within Community. This applies to posts, replies and direct messages alike.
Reporting and blocking. Every post, reply and message can be reported directly within the app, and you can block another member at any time — blocking prevents them from contacting you further. We review reports and act on them, which may include removing content, restricting a member's ability to post, or permanently banning an account, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. If you believe a report was mishandled, contact us at hello@skintrics.app.
Not private, not permanent. Community posts are visible to other members of the same condition group. Direct messages are visible only to you and the recipient, but are not end-to-end encrypted. Don't post anything in Community you wouldn't want another member to see, and don't treat it as a substitute for a private conversation.
Ownership. You retain ownership of content you post to Community, but grant us a licence to store, display, and moderate it within the app for as long as it remains posted.

Skintrics and all associated content, features and functionality are owned by Skintrics and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the app for personal purposes only.
Your use of Skintrics is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.
Skintrics is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses or other harmful components.
We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any information provided by the app, including any trigger correlations, pattern analysis, or content posted by other users in the Community feature.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skintrics and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to health decisions made based on app data or Community content.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
